Winter Kenai river fishing on the right days can be a lot of fun and very productive. The days are getting longer and there are a few bears starting to poke their heads out on the Kenai peninsula. This is an exciting time of year for me but winter just keeps hanging around. In Anchorage we were blessed with another 3-4″ of snow last week. Though it didn’t hang around we keep getting hit with cold weather. I plan to get out a little this weekend and try to chase a steal head down on the Kasilof River.
