The Kenai river was running much clearer today than the last couple days. Kenai river Alaska fly fishing for
rainbow trout and
Dolly Varden fishing was very good all day long. I found a few concentrations of bigger fish and was able to land a few of them!
Jack caught so many fish today that after 8 hours he was laying down on the deck trying to run a drift. It didn’t work so well but he just couldn’t bring himself to quit!
Everyone caught good fish and they are already in for another week next year.
This Large dark rainbow trout was caught close to the shore. I think he was taking a break from the current and hanging in some easier water.
