After months of planning some good friends and our kids went out with the halibut charter I use for my guests on may 26th. The weather was amazing and we limited out quick on halibut and rockfish. This is the first trip my daughter has gone out on the saltwater and of course the beginners luck paid off. Kate was able to muscle this 103 pounder in with no help reeling at all.
The two youngest on the boat had the most luck. My buddy’s son Cavan had a hard fighting 85 pounder he pulled in to finish up the limit. It was an awesome day with good company and a great crew.
