If you are visiting the Alaska in the fall and the weather is right for you, Homer alaska Lingcod and halibut fishing can be very good. Be sure to dress for a colder days of fishing though. You can always take off layers but if you don’t have them you cant put them on! Be prepared for 25 – 50 degrees after mid September. This is my best lingcod to date! 60+ pounds!
Just because it’s getting a little cold doesn’t mean that there are not some great fishing opportunities on the Kenai peninsula. We had a great day in late Sept. and the best part was that we were the only boat out there! Weather in the fall can be very unpredictable. You line up a saltwater trip and get blown off due to weather we will be happy to replace your day with a trip on the Kenai river. We will do the best we can to make your trip as fish filled as possible
tight lines
and keep saltwater fishing in mind on your next fall trip to Alaska!
